Eye Love you

There are many things I wish I had naturally;
longer legs, thicker eyebrows, the ability to not want chocolate,
but having longer fuller lashes is definitely at the number one spot.
I have always had short, thin, sparse eyelashes
and nothing but good old false lashes could save me from
this dilemma.

However with a little patience and a bit of luck
I think I have found my savoir!

'Lancome Hypnose Star'

I used to use 'Lancome Cils Booster'
along with 'Maybelline Volum Express Colossal' mascara.
But then I heard Debenems were selling Lancome
mascaras for only £10!!
So long story short I tottled my way down there
and grabbed this gem.
And I couldn't have been happier with the results!

After using an eyelash curler I use
'Lancome Cils Booster'.

This is more of a primer for your mascara
with Micro-Fibres that enhance, smooth
and protect your lashes with ingredients
such as (D-Panthenol) + Vitamin E Nanocapsules.
This really helps to fan out my lashes
and create more volume.
I definitely notice the difference if I don't use this.

Then on to your Mascara.
(I just love the tube! It's so pretty and I'm instantly attracted to anything sparkly!)

As you can see it is quite a thin brush
but it does have different sides to help create the look you want.

One side is more flat and creates volume and thickness.

The other side is slightly longer and creates length in the lashes.
I find it best to use this side first to separate and lengthen
my lashes then use the other side to thicken them.

Now for most people you'll probably think
they don't look that good, but for me it's made a huge improvement
compared to other Mascaras.
You can build on the thickness so if I'm going out
I'll do two coats instead of one but it's enough
thickness for a daytime look I think.

I bought the Primer Mascara from Boots for £22
and the Hypnose Star from Debenems is usually £22.50.

Well that's it for now
and I hope you enjoyed!
Have you tried these Mascaras
and what did you think?

Byeeee :)

Time to wake up!

I don't know about you but getting up in the
mornings can be a real task.
It takes an enormous mug of hot chocolate,
a hour of duvet dwelling and a slap
around the mooey to even attempt to get me up!
I used to be a real morning person but since
my little munchkin has come on the scene
I generally hate getting up early.

But do not fear bed lovers,
I may have found the solution!
I bought Niveas new shower gel a few months
ago and I don't think I could pick
any other shower gel now.

As you could probably tell by the picture
above they do 4 different scents which all
smell amazing.
My favourite is defiantly the 'Hawaiian Bliss'
and 'Sunny melon'.
As it described the Hawaiian smells of
tropical fruits boasting a Frangipani flower
scent which makes your brain think
you're bathing on some warm, white sandy
beach rather than your **** shower.

And the 'Sunny Melon' smells so summery
and good enough to eat
with it's scent of Honeydew Melon.
(I've seriously considered it but it's not wise)

The 'Lemongrass' one is very
refreshing and zesty.
And the 'Waterlily' is one for those
of you who prefer a more subtle scent.

So my verdict..
give these bad boys a go
and your mornings will be a lot happier.
(Well for the duration of your shower anyway!)

They're very uplifting, fresh scents
that are infused with oil 'pearls'
that dissolve and create a foam.
So not only will you smell good
you'll have softer skin.

Give them a go!

Have you already tried these?
What did you think?
Any other suggestions to stop being
a zombie in the morning?

Besides drinking coffee as I don't like it  ¬¬

Break into summer not your purse

Summer is slowly on it's way
and I couldn't be more excited about it this year :)
But unfortunately the same can't be said about
my bank, thus I'm having to
buy things on the cheap
(Which I should be doing more often anyway!)

So I thought I'd share these gems
I picked up from 'Asdas'.
Asdas do brilliant clothes and home ware stuff
and you should defiantly check it out!

(I apologise for the awful photos I was in a rush
and had no one to hold the camera :( )

These immediately grabbed my attention
and I thought the colours looked great together.

The satchel is a beautiful Cyan shade
with magnetic buttons
with a front pouch big enough to hold your
purse, phone etc.
(And I think this is a mum friendly
bag as it's big enough to squeeze
in some baby essentials.)
This was just £10!
And I absolutely love this bag, you
can mix and match it with so many things!

This shirt has such a great cut
I think it would look flattering on anyone.
It's a very bright neon yellow
which is strange cause usually I hate yellow
but I just love this?
This was just £8!

It's also a great neckline to show off
bold necklaces.

Asdas also do great makeup.
I picked up 2 lipsticks, a lip liner and nail
varnish in their own brand called 'collection'.
The Lipsticks were £2.50, the liner was £1.18
and the varnish was £2.50.
Can't go wrong!

These are the swatches going
from left to right.
- Collection- number 10, Sea Shell
- Collection- number 5, Passion fruit
- Maybeline- 710, Sultry Sand

And this is such a lovely colour,
the camera hasn't picked it up very well.
It's more orange than red
and honestly it may be one of the best
varnishes I've used!
It has a wide brush so application is easy
and it hasn't chipped once yet!
Usually my varnishes chip after a few hours
but this bad boy has stuck on good!
This shade is 'Coral Reef 5'.

So that's it folks!
I'll be keeping my eye out for more
summer bargains to show you!

Things I'm Loving This Month

Just thought I'd share some
products I've been loving this month!

My obsession with 'Garniers Moisture Match' moisturiser
is starting to worry me! I originally just used the blue one
but I grabbed this as I wanted something a bit lighter
just for a quick pick me up in the morning.
And this delivers!

It's a very light serum like moisturiser that quickly
absorbs into the skin making it feel refreshed
and soft.

This isn't heavy duty moisturiser so I don't use
it to really soften my skin but it does help brighten it
and just make you feel a bit more human in the mornings!

Next is 'Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing cleansing Mousse.'
I don't usually cleanse. Yep I admitted it!
Even with countless brand new bottles of cleansers
staring at me every time I open my cupboard,
I'm still too lazy to bother!
But with this for some reason I thought it'd be easier-
and it is!
I don't know why but it's just easier to quickly rub some mousse
around your mush then wash it off in 2 seconds
rather than mess around with sloppy gel/liquid.

You only need 1 squirt to do your whole face.
And it actually does refresh my skin and make
it feel smoother.
The only problem I can see with this is
it can run out quite fast.

Now this stuff is AMAZING!
I got it from 'Poundland' believe it or not
and it has answered my removing nail
varnish prayers!
All you do is simply dip your nail into the sponge
and twist and take out. Job done!

It really is that simply and takes literally 2 seconds!
Its small, compact, smells like peaches,
acetone free and is only £1!
Can't go wrong.

This 'Bourjois So Laque Glossy' looks soo scrummy!
It's a lovely mint green colour that is perfect
for Spring!
The brush makes it easy to apply an even coat
and it hasn't chipped as easily
as other varnishes.

This is shade 04 Amande defile.

And last is a simple
Brown Gel eyeliner.
This was only a cheap one from 'Asdas'
but it works fine.
I feel Brown is a nice alternative to Black
for your eyes as Black can look
a bit too much for day wear.

Baby Buzz Haul

Hello Beansprouts!

Now I don't know if anyone would even be
interested in this but I thought why not give it a go anyway?!

So I thought I would ATTEMPT to do a baby clothes Haul
every week. I'd like to say I'd do it every Monday,
however I feel a little too pressurised to make that
kind of commitment haha
So we'll say every week for now!

For this Haul everything (apart from one thing) is from Next.
So without further Adieu...

These little gems just had to be first on the list because
I think they are GORGES!
These are the cutest little 'High Tops' I've ever seen!
Trimmed with beautiful lace with the cutest little rabbit
printed on pale pink with a very subtle glitter front
these are defiantly perfect for any little girl!
One of the best things is as well as looking cute they're also easy to
get on and off your little squiggles feet thanks to the brilliance
of Velcro.
(No more endless battles of trying to tie up laces for hours!)
These were £16. A little pricey but
I think they're just too cute to pass up.

These are perfect for Spring with the delicate flowers
and bows adding extra cuteness to any outfit.
They were each £5.

Team up this sweet little dress with some tights.
These tights were just a cheap pair from Asdas.

The detail on this dress is brilliant. So many
little things going on, almost like a story with chirpy birds
singing, riding bicycles and just looking pretty.

And I'll end it with these absolutely gorges little shoes!
These just remind me of sitting on a sunny beach
with a good old Rossis Icecream.
(Hopefully without any seagulls dive bombing you for food!)
I got these on Debenhams website for about £5
by Jasper Conrad.
If you haven't already I would defiantly check out his stuff
as it's always gorges and affordable for a designer.

Well that's it folks.
Let me know what you think.
What have you bought for your little ones
for spring/summer?
